Manchester United start to the season has been far from spectacular but there are signs of improvement from the club so far. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has used the summer to pass his ideas to the players and there are expectations this season.

The Norwegian tactician has reverted to a British core which has been the strength of Manchester United in the past two decades. The signings of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire look astute as the club has looked assured at the back.
